It was wonderful to see so many happy faces and hugs shared on Friday the 30th of August as the community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel gathered to honour the fathers, grandfathers and father figures with a delicious breakfast and heart-warming mass. Father’s Day Breakfast was followed by a mass - where we were able to give thanks and reflect on being blessed with our special fathers. Read more...

Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) teachers were given the chance to see how the Positive Behaviour Support for Learning (PBS4L) framework is making a difference at Holy Cross Primary Glenwood. The school hosted up to 120 CEDP teachers and staff along with the Executive Director Greg Whitby and Director of Learning Sue Walsh, as they shared their PBS4L journey so far. Read more...
On Friday, the 26th of July, our OLMC school and parish community came together to celebrate our feast day and to honour our grandparents on the Feast day of St Joachim and Anne, the parents of Mary and the grandparents of Jesus. Read more...

On Monday the 8th of April OLMC celebrated God Day to help us prepare for the great feast of Easter. Each class, the teachers and a group of parents broke open a Scripture passage, created a visual representation of the story and wrote a reflection about the passage. On Thursday Week 11 students and parents will have time to walk prayerfully around our spaces to reflect on the Easter stations.

What an amazing spectacle our 2019 FETE turned out to be on Friday 22nd March. Excitement filled the air as the community were transformed from the OLMC school grounds to carnival splendour. Read more...
