Our programs help children build confidence and make new friends before the big school year begins.
Vacation Care at Ambrose is for children in school years K-6, and children from all faiths and schools are welcome to our services.
Our program is based on the "My Time Our Place" framework - which is focusses on children's interests and ensures we provide a program they love.
Activities include, excursions (where we go out into the community), workshops (where a special activity comes to us), games, sport, craft and much more.

What a great day at the Arts Factor Primary Band Performances today. Our children had the opportunity to perform to an audience of 200 of their peers. Today our OLMC Kindy 2025 Playgroup was back in swing with a focus on; 1. Introducing ourselves using our name 2. Acknowledging when others introduce themselves 3. Raising our hand before we speak, and only speaking if the teacher calls our name. 4. Packing away our area and helping our friends to pack up their area before moving to the floor 5. Walking with a partner in a straight line 6. Recognising our family members and raising our hand to notify the teacher BEFORE moving to our waiting family members. We are having a great time at playgroup and itβs wonderful to see, that even in a very short time, how our children are progressing.

It is during this time of year that the sacrament of creation is out in full bloom. All of creation reveals God's nature in some way and, therefore, has its own integrity and relationship with God. As human beings, we are made in the imago Dei (image of God), this affirms our unique dignity and moral responsibility to cultivate and care for the community of creation.

Did you knowβ¦. All Saints Day arose out of the Christian tradition of celebrating the martyrdom of saints on the anniversary of their martyrdom. When martyrdoms increased during the persecutions of the late Roman Empire, local dioceses instituted a common feast day in order to ensure that all martyrs, known and unknown, were properly honored. All Saints Day is celebrated on November 1.

Today we started our Transition to School Playgroup Program, focusing on building relationships, learning routines and familiarisation with the OLMC environment. ππ©΅ππ©΅ We canβt wait to have our 2025 Kindy children return for another 4 Playgroup sessions, before our Orientation Day in late November
